Ballet Dance Academy's
Ms. Nida Onglengco-Pangan started the Ballet Dance Academy (BDA) in Cubao, Quezon City in 1970. It was formally recognized as one of the established ballet schools in Metro Manila during the ballet festivals of the 70’s sponsored by the Ballet Federation of the Philippines.
From Cubao, Teacher Nida started teaching at St. Paul College Pasig in the late 1970’s for 28 years and simultaneously in SM Megamall, where it became the BDA home until mid-2000’s. Teacher Nida also taught in St. Paul College Manila, Quezon City, Makati & Bulacan, St. Joseph College Quezon City, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Paranaque, Classical Ballet Academy of Inday Gaston Manosa, St. Anthony School Manila, YMCA International, Ayala Alabang Country Club and DBP summer workshops.

BDA is now recognized by the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, UNESCO International Dance Council, and it is one of the schools that founded the Association of Ballet Academies of the Philippines (ABAP) in 1993.
